An Elegant Castle Wedding in Wales

One of the things I love most about being an independent wedding planner is the opportunity to experience the wide variety of incredible wedding venues Wales has to offer, and, of course, the privilege to style so many unique and breathtaking spaces.

From rustic converted cattle sheds overlooking the rugged Welsh coastline to picturesque castles with a sea view, our job takes us to truly magical places where we get to create something special - what could be better :)

Mari and Rich meticulously planned their fairytale castle wedding in Wales but, based in the US, Mari felt she needed some on-the-ground support in bringing all her carefully considered ideas together to create an elegant design concept that would wow her guests, and that's where we came in.

The Bradenstoke Hall at St Donat's castle, with exposed bath stone walls, 20ft ceilings, beautiful oak beams, and original Tudor gardens that sweep down to the Bay of St Donat’s is an incredibly grand, majestic space and a dream to work in for any stylist.

Mari chose a soft, delicate palette of creams, whites and ivories that nestled beautifully in summer green foliage and encapsulated the natural essence of an enchanted British country garden. Giant statement urns and tall glass vases were used to compliment the high ceilings and added elegance and grandeur.

We especially loved all the little details of this romantic day, and the care and thought that went into the uniting of two nationalities.
