Vintage Chic Wedding on the Welsh Coast: Ellen & Will's Dreamy Day

These beautiful photos have been sitting in my inbox, waiting to be shared, for a long time! I can't believe it's been over a year since Ellen & Will first got in touch to see if I had space in my diary to help them bring the final logistical details of their day together - I am so glad I did, what an amazing wedding to be part of.


Ellen and Will's incredibly picturesque wedding took place on a beautifully sunny spring day in a quaint little village church nestled in the stunning grounds of Penrice Estate on the Gower Peninsular. An idyllic setting for this gorgeous couple to celebrate their love.


Their vision of a traditional marquee overlooking Oxwich Bay (a spot dear to their hearts) came together perfectly, helped by a team of fabulous suppliers and the glorious Welsh sunshine!

A minimal style, with plenty of white for the florals to pop against, was key in the design of this day. Ellen's natural flare for style shone through in all her hand-picked details - vintage and contemporary elements blended seamlessly, creating a timeless elegance.


The couple kept sustainability in mind when choosing their suppliers - Queen of the Meadow Flowers created beautiful country garden displays for the church, natural and wild installations growing up and around the marquee poles, and dainty bud vases for the tables using all British-grown flowers in foam-free designs. They went for natural larkspur, dahlia and sweetpea petal confetti, grown in Pembrokeshire by The Floral Goat, and Holdens, who source local ingredients from sustainably minded food producers, catered the day.
