All you need to know.

Anchor 1

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

We are based just on the border of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire but we work on weddings across Wales and happily travel to Bristol if required.

DO YOU PLAN DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

We aim to keep events as sustainable as possible and very much love this part of the world so we focus on planning events in Wales. We do however work remotely with lots of couples who are based overseas but are planning their wedding here.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU WORK ON AT A TIME?

We are strong believers in quality over quantity. It is very important for us to devote a huge amount of time and energy to every wedding we plan so I limit the number of full-service weddings to just a handful of couples at a time. It’s, therefore, a good idea to get in touch as soon as possible, especially if you dream of a summer wedding.

DO YOU PLAN LOTS OF DIFFERENT STYLES OF WEDDINGS?

You name it, we've worked on it! Whether you're looking for a whimsical boho wedding, an intimate micro wedding, or a luxurious fairytale wedding, we would love to hear your ideas.

Our job is to understand and interpret your style. We love variety, thrive on new challenges and very much enjoy working with the diverse mix of venues Wales has to offer. We have a background in festival management, which makes us specialists in outdoor and marquee events, and a strong sustainable ethos that very much shapes our designs and the choices we make. The thing that our clients usually have in common is a love for nature, understated elegance, quirky personal touches and an easy, relaxed atmosphere.

DO YOU ALSO PLAN PARTIES AND EVENTS?

Yes, both! Although we don't advertise ourselves as "party planners" we love nothing more than an amazing party and with a background in festival management, we have all the skills needed to plan fantastic parties and memorable celebrations. To find out more please get in touch here for a chat.

DO YOU HAVE PREFERRED SUPPLIERS THAT YOU WORK WITH? AND DO WE HAVE TO USE THOSE SUPPLIERS?

I am an independent wedding planner so I'm not tied to any venues or suppliers. I am uniquely placed to recommend talented people I think are going to match your vision, but recommendations are all they ever are. It’s your wedding, the choices will always be yours - we’re here to facilitate your decisions.

We also love working with new suppliers, especially those that have a similar style and ethos to our own.

HOW WILL THE SUSTAINABLE ASPECT OF WHAT YOU DO AFFECT OUR WEDDING?

Our sustainable approach can work for any couple, wedding style and budget. It's our job to support you in designing and delivering the special day you’ve always dreamt of, and our sustainable ethos doesn't ask that you compromise on that. For us, it's all about calling on our wealth of knowledge and experience to support couples in making considered tweaks throughout the planning process that will make your day a little greener whilst bringing together the day you have always imagined. We are specialists in making behind the scenes eco-friendly choices that, if anything, add to the overall look and feel of the day.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES OR COSTS WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?

Transparency about costs is incredibly important to us. Following our initial complimentary consultation, you’ll be provided with a bespoke estimate and kept updated at every stage regarding budgets.

We are committed to keeping a record of all hours throughout the planning process and would inform you well in advance if we are likely to go over, or be below, budgeted hours.

We do not accept any form of commission or referral fee from wedding venues or suppliers.

This means you can rest safe in the knowledge that our recommendations are always made with your very best interests at heart and that all discounts and savings are passed directly to you.

DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION?

Yes and no! Ultimately this depends on where you’re getting married, and how intensive the set-up and the pack-down process is. As a general rule, if a venue is over a 2-hour journey for us we will require local accommodation. If travel and accommodation costs are applicable this will be included in our initial estimate.

WHAT KIND OF BUDGET DO WE NEED TO WORK WITH YOU?

All budgets are welcome!

We have planned homegrown weddings for less than £25K all the way up to extravagant wedding weekends for six figures. Ultimately, we want our services to be as affordable as possible so please talk to us about your budget and we will always help you understand what you can realistically achieve with the budget you have.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

A deposit of 25% is required to secure the date and our services. 2 further payments of 25% will then be due part of the way through the planning process. The remaining 25% balance is payable 4 weeks before the big day.

You may cancel for any reason and at any point within the contract. If the contract is cancelled we will only charge you for time already spent working on your wedding and any relevant out-of-pocket expenses.

HOW LONG DOES WEDDING PLANNING TAKE?

The answer to this question can vary massively depending on the size and complexity of the wedding you would like to have. For every wedding, I would always recommend making a start on booking a venue and suppliers well over a year in advance otherwise you may find everyone is booked up and you are left with very little choice.

I would generally spend a minimum of 200 hours fully planning a wedding - it's an incredibly time-consuming process!

I use my experience and expertise to estimate how many hours of planning is required for each event based on your vision.

HOW MUCH DOES A WEDDING PLANNER COST?

I must start by saying that every wedding planner is different, and pricing structures vary depending on what services you’re after, but generally, there are two main ways that planners will charge you for their service. They will either work out an estimate based on an hourly rate or charge a flat fee based on 10% - 15% of your total wedding budget where a minimum fee applies.

Because we have chosen to steer away from set packages and instead create bespoke wedding planning packages based on the support you are looking for, we provide our couples with an estimate based on an hourly rate of £22 ph. This ensures that you are only paying for the services you require, and your estimate accurately reflects the size and complexity of your event.

Fully planning a wedding can take anywhere between 200 and 300 hours, whereas coordinating a wedding day generally takes around 60 hours.

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?

As soon as you can! The sooner we are able to come on board the more chance you will have of securing a date in our busy diaries and the more choice you will have for venues and suppliers as these often get booked up well in advance.

ARE WEDDING PLANNERS INSURED?

We are fully insured with public liability insurance.

DO I NEED A WEDDING PLANNER?

This is a question that gets asked a lot, and the answer felt a bit too in-depth and long to add here, so I decided to write a blog on the subject that I hope answers everything here
