Catherine and Simon's New Years Eve Masked Ball

The short days of winter seem a long way off - Spring has truly sprung in Wales and it's a crazy juggling act here between designing and planning summer weddings and staying on top of the garden as everything grows at full speed!

It is always nice to take a moment to look back over past weddings though, and this one was such perfect day of mid winter celebrations!

Catherine and Simon's dream wedding was a black tie, masked ball affair set in a glass house marquee in the garden of their families home in the stunning coastal village of Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire.

I immediately fell in love with Catherine's Pinterest board of wintery greens and white, and after a few site visits (to make sure the garden could host such a large marquee!) set about booking in the date with local suppliers, and designing their elegant New Year wedding.

We kept our fingers crossed all year that the weather will hold out for us and it did!

Locals were out on the streets to get a glimpse of the distinguished wedding party as they walked through the little village of Newport, up the tiny winding streets to the church.

They were then swept away by coaches to their marquee reception.

With fine dining, cocktails, great speeches, an amazing band and fireworks the celebrations went on well into the early hours of the morning!

We had such a good New Years Eve with you guys - Thanks for choosing us to be part of your day!
